PHNOM PENH: The National United Front for an Independent, Neutral, Peaceful and Cooperative Cambodia (FUNCINPEC) party has released an official statement congratulating the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) for holding a successful 43rd Central Committee Meeting, under the high presidency of Prime Minister Hun Sen, on Friday morning.

FUNCINPEC’s statement particularly highlighted the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Sen in providing opportunities for young people to lead and accomplish the party’s work to be stronger and more successful in the future.

At the same time, the statement included that FUNCINPEC has been working hard to improve, strengthen and restore the party’s prestige to become a strong national force that can participate in nation building. The FUNCINPEC party also strives to continue its alliance with the CPP to be stronger and more trustworthy, so that they can serve the interests of the people and the nation, especially to improve livelihoods and maintain the sustainability of the monarchy and the throne.

The statement concluded by extending the party’s blessings and good wishes to Prime Minister Hun Sen, First Lady Bun Rany Hun Sen, as well as the leaders and members of the CPP for all of the party's important achievements in leading the development and prosperity of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
